  • Traveled and studied throughout the Americas seeking knowledge and designs of the Mayan, Aztec and Native American Indians; crafting silver chain for family, friends and bartering.
1996 Apprentice: Caribbean & South America
  • Sailed to and trekked across South America studying the resourceful ways of diverse cultures.
  • Learned the 'Inca Puna' chain technique while living with these indigenous Inca Indians.
1995 Potter: Appalachian Center for Crafts, Smithville, TN.
  • Attended A.C.C. in Ceramics Studio; concentration on wheel thrown functional pottery.
  • Pottery exhibited at the A.C.C. Gallery, Silver Point Gallery, Local Color Gallery, Radio Cafe and Tennessee Art and Craft Association's Spring Fair.

  • Attended Secondary Art Education Seminar at Cardiff Institute as an exchange program placement.
