Getting Started

Start by making a twist-tie from a three-inch length of wire, this will help define a beginning point to work in a linear direction. Before you begin assembling the chain, separate your jump rings into piles of six, this will assist the repeated counting sequence of six rings.

Add six jump rings onto the twist-tie in a 2+2+2 pattern. Be sure to close each ring flush and flat, utilizing the file and sanding pad to remove any burrage and smooth the ring joint.
