Quartz Centerpiece

This crystal wrap was my first successful attempts at setting gems without hot-torch and bezel; proving to myself what is possible with a few simple handtools, creativity, and lots of time. This centerpiece is a natural quartz that is set into a hammered cage and wrapped with flattened wire. This centerpiece is in my permanent collection, collecting sunlight in my studio window.
