Greetings my friends -- hope all is good for you and yours as the last autumn leaves drift into winter.

second book

I sincerely hope all is good for you and yours as the last autumn leaves drift into winter. Since my last newsletter in July, the response to the release of my 2nd book has been overwhelming. I personally sold 140 signed copies through my website, and the total sales are 8,500 in the first four months, as the publishing house starts its second printing. To promote this second title, I spent a successful month on the road teaching 18 beaded chain jewelry workshops in Chicago, Seattle, and Portland, where I meet so many great people!

If you are looking for some holiday gift giving projects, I have new jewelry supply kits at lower prices for all your jewelry making needs, including the ever-popular tri-metal Beaded Infinity Bracelet, illustrated in my 2nd book and shown at left.

I am also offering my signature hand forged S-clasp in bronze, silver and gold, as well as my super-strong magnetic clasps in gold and two sizes of silver to complete your bracelet or necklace jewelry design in style with piece-of-mind security.

If you are looking to purchase my finished jewelry for yourself or to gift, I have listed a variety of my best-selling jewelry designs on my purchase page with PayPal buttons.

If you would like to commission custom jewelry, by length, metal or bead embellishment, feel free to send me an email from my contact page to discuss the possibilities.

For the upcoming 2010 calendar year, I have scheduled jewelry workshops at:

Creative Castle, Newbury Park, CA – March 12 – 14

Santa Fe School of Art, Santa Fe, NM – March 21

Bead Fest Philadelphia, King of Prussia, PA– Aug 19 – 22

Hazel Wheaton, editor of Art Jewelry magazine wrote a
very kind review of my
new Mandrel-tip Pliers.

The good folks at Kalmbach have included my Beaded Twin Bracelet article, which first appeared in the December 2007 Bead&Button magazine, into their new 256-page, hardbound book entitled: Creative Beading Vol. 4: The best projects from a year of Bead&Button magazine.

This book is a 'must have' for any creative individual; just chalked full of amazing projects. Although most of the book is dedicated to seed-beading, there is an impressive section on wireworking, where you can find my article on pages 212 - 213.

Jewelry Supply Kits for the Twin bracelet are available.

Coming Soon

I have successfully delivered my 3rd book to my publishing house with 39 spine-tingling new jewelry designs. Watson-Guptill is planning to release in November 2010; more details will be forthcoming with a way to reserve a copy or pre-purchase for free shipping option.

I am planning to start selling off some of my older jewelry designs that were photographed for the 1st and 2nd books through my Etsy account over the coming winter months.

Take care my friends, may your path be paved in gold and enlightened by bliss, sdp.
