I was invited by Interweave Press to do a film shoot in April, the
first two videos released in June with excellent reviews (see below),
and now the third DVD video Make
Chain Maille Jewelry, Vol. 2 has just released as a continuation
of the first Chain Maille video.

I am super-jazzed to have the Serrated Byzantine Bracelet featured in the October issue of Bead&Button magazine article entitled "Byzantine balanced". The Serrated Byzantine bracelet and matching earrings design were originally published in the 3rd book (page 54). I am now offering two different instructional jewelry kits for the Serrated Byzantine Bracelet as a base-metal beginner kit in 18- and 14-gauge bronze jump rings, as well as a finer sized mixed-metal advanced kit in 19-gauge silver and 15-gauge bronze jump rings; see below. |

I'm now offering a dozen NEW Kits of my favorite jewelry designs, beyond the basic base-metal brass-n-glass kits, including many advanced pendant designs with silver rings and gemstone beads. Starting with an educational kit to learn the illusive Jens Pind chain pattern with tri-metal rings, assembled with gold-plated copper rings, silver-plated copper rings, and clear-coated copper rings. Then, try an all-bronze Jens Pind Bracelet kit to test your chain pattern skills and shorten your learning curve. Next are several mixed-metal kits that have been featured in magazine articles, such as the Serrated Byzantine Bracelet (upper-left) with 19-gauge silver and copper rings, and 15-gauge bronze connector rings to make the exact jewelry project illustrated in the magazine. Finally a selection of the most popularly requested custom jewelry kits from my readership in silver and gemstone. The Incan Triangle Pendant (lower-left) includes three sizes of sterling silver jump rings and two sizes of red carnelian beads - simply stunning.

The good folks at Rio Grande Jewelry Blog recently did a two-part book excerpt from the 4th Book, Chain and Bead Jewelry Soldering Connections. The first part illustrates the hot-torch technique of Making Headpins from Argentium Silver Wire, followed by the pliers-assemble step-by-step of Making Beaded Triad Earrings. |

Debbie DiJusto, author of the Craftymoose blog has
recently posted a glowing review
of the first DVD video title on her colorful blog; so glowing
that I'm blushing. It is definitelty worth a read, and please feel
free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page - you just may
win the Romanov Earrings kit giveaway.
