I am very proud to have made the cover of Wirework 2010 magazine, on sale at your newsstand through August. This extraordinary Kalmbach production, lists the who's who of contemporary wire jewelry artists. My project is a simple bronze Double chain (2+2+2) with faux amber beads (made by Sherri Haab) set between; seen second from left on the cover between Rachel Nelson-Smith's project at left and Rebeca Mojica's project at right.

You can purchase a copy of Wirework 2010 from www.artjewelrymag.com

Hazel Wheaton, editor of Art Jewelry magazine wrote a very kind review of my new Mandrel-tip Pliers.

The good folks at Kalmbach have included my Beaded Twin Bracelet article, which first appeared in the December 2007 Bead&Button magazine, into their new 256-page, hardbound book entitled: Creative Beading Vol. 4: The best projects from a year of Bead&Button magazine.

This book is a 'must have' for any creative individual; just chalked full of amazing projects. Although most of the book is dedicated to seed-beading, there is an impressive section on wireworking, where you can find my article on pages 212 - 213.

The Bead Book is a South African publication, that printed a book review, Who's Hot Q&A with me, and utilized my Byzantine chain tutorial for a beaded chain project in their April 2009 (#17) issue.

Here's a PDF file of the Q&A

My Infinity chain pattern was selected as the July 'free project' at Art Jewelry Magazine's website. Here is the link to the Art Jewelry's Free Projects and here is a link to the 2.18MB Infinity Chain PDF file.

The amazing Beadissimo bead shop that graced the Mission District of San Francisco has sadly closed its doors.

I have had several opportunities to teach at the fab Beadissimo - any excuse to visit San Francisco. Before I came back to teach in the winter of 08, I received a request from Kate Richburg to do a Q&A to post on their site.

Here is a link to that Question & Answer PDF file.

Addy Kidd, assistant editor of Bead & Button Magazine, wrote this how-to article from my tutorial on the Beaded Twin Chain Bracelet.

Supply kits for this bracelet are available.

I was invited to Cleveland in June to participate in a PBS shooting for the seventh season of Beads, Baubles, and Jewels. Here I am with the host, Katina Forta, after shooting a tutorial on the Zigzag Byzantine and Starfish Pendant.

I have a tutorial on the Zigzag Byzantine listed on beadsbaublesandjewels.com

No, your not going blind; this image is out of focus - sorry.

Spencer Baum at Rio Grande liked my book so much, he got it included in their quarterly magazine.

Jill Erickson, Associate Editor at Art Jewelry Magazine wrote this generous book review for the March 2007 periodical. My deepest gratitude goes out to Jill Erickson, Katie Streeter and the entire staff at Kalmbach Publications.

Bonnie Bing, fashion editor of the Wichita Eagle, was kind enough to give me a phone interview for this article which was featured in the January 22 edition of the Wichita Eagle Newspaper.

This image of my Flatt bracelet was selected for inclusion in Creative Silver Chains by Chantal Lise Saunders by Lark Books (2005).
