ROSARY

The Rosary design, pages 62 to 67, allows the color and brilliance of gemstone beads to be assembled into a length of Byzantine chain. The example 16-inch necklace is crafted from 18-gauge brass wire and set with carnelian beads. This section starts with instructions on bead reaming to enlarge the pre-drilled hole within the bead when necessary and concludes with instructions for making a 26-inch traditional Catholic Rosary.
