Forging an S-clasp : 2-hour intermediate workshop In this hands-on clasp-making workshop we will be transforming a static length of 14-gauge round wire into a functional and aesthetic clasping system. Utilizing some basic blacksmithing skills with a hammer against anvil each student will have the opportunity to forge several S-clasps with one-on-one supervision. Each clasp is quality controlled and completed with three 14-gauge connector jump rings. No experience necessary; moderate patience and hand-eye coordination required. * note that each student will need a bench block and small hammer. |
